Planet Horner - Mike T.

Day 1: As I stepped through the mysterious portal I arrived at a new dimension. Nobody was to be seen and it was very hilly and grassy. Out of nowhere came a tremendous dinosaur. He could talk! His name was Steve and he roared greatly at the top of his lungs then asked me where I came from. A mutter came from my mouth that subtly sounded like Earth. He chuckled and told me I arrived at planet Horner. He then proceeded to send me down the hill and to the left where he said I could find food and shelter.

Day 2: I roamed down the hill as Steve told me worried and confused as to where I had gone. A tall building appeared that seemed to be made of grass but still stayed together and erected. Inside the creatures informed me Steve had talked of me. They treated me in awe and took me to the cafeteria. As I reached the cafeteria I smelt an awful scent. I walked in the door and could hardly stand the stench. I took a bite into something they called the secret special. It smelt so bad but shockingly tasted extremely good.

Day 3: Another dinosaur name Pablo escorted me to the living quarters. It was also made of grass. I could not be sure but I believe that it was held together by mud and cheese. Certainly I am no architect, but mud and cheese is not what is normally used to form houses. Pablo escorted me to my room and it was quite elegant. It has a king sized bed with linen sheets. It was garnished with silk. This world I was in was beautiful yet odd. I was so fascinated with this place that I had forgotten about getting home but for now I needed rest.

Day 4: As I arose the next morning I started to come to realize that I needed to get home. I went to the buildings courtyard and asked Pablo how I could possibly get home. He did not really tell me much and it seemed as if he was lying. I decided to go to the town ruler called John and see if he could help me. I went to his office and he told me that I could not go home that people who entered were not allowed to leave. He then dismissed me and told me to go back to my room. I went to the portal where I came in and Steve stopped me. He told me there would be some serious problems if I tried to leave. Escaping this place was a must.

Day 5: If I was going to leave I was going to need to trick somebody. Planet Horner seemed terrific when I arrived but now there was obviously something wrong with it. I told Steve to meet me by the pond so that we could have a picnic together at 2 PM. As I saw him walking towards the pond I ran for the exit portal. He saw me and darted after me. He was a dinosaur so naturally he was much faster. As I reached the exit he got a hold of my shoe. I was able to slip it off, and return back to my room where I came from.

As I returned to my room it looked as if I were finally home, but I then realized a huge dinosaur standing outside of my window. It was a trap.
